22 Counties Set for Interoperability Compliance

The 22 counties participating in CalMHSA Connex — our specialized platform for secure sharing of behavioral health information — are now set for full compliance with state interoperability requirements. This is a major milestone for CalMHSA and its county partners committed to advancing healthcare data exchange standards, improving interoperability, and supporting more efficient, client-centered care across California.
Having completed a pivotal onboarding process with a network of partners that use a common framework (Carequality), CalMHSA Connex has met current California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) requirements.
As the state’s first and only county behavioral health-centric health information exchange, the Connex platform was designed with a key set of priorities:
