Presumptive Transfer Portal
Simplified Inter-County Billing for California Counties Now Meets AB 1051 Requirements
CalMHSA’s Presumptive Transfer Portal reforms inter-county billing by offering an intuitive, secure and centralized billing solution between California counties serving presumptively transferred clients, with:
- Streamlined operations: Each county enters into a single participation agreement with CalMHSA rather than separate agreements with all other counties. Counties can easily initiate, track, and manage billing transactions with other participating counties.
- AB 1051 requirements: The portal is now fully enabled to meet the requirements of Assembly Bill 1051. Counties that want to start using this feature can simply log into the portal.
- Cost savings through reduced administrative costs, allowing counties to allocate resources more effectively.
- Improved cash flow due to fewer delayed payments through a portal that expedites the billing process and payment settlements.
- Enhanced accuracy and transparency by automating calculations and reducing the risk of billing errors. Transactions can be tracked in real-time, ensuring accountability and creating trust among participating counties.
- Supportive collaboration that allows counties to share best practices, exchange knowledge and establish efficient financial workflows.
